8 Great Holiday Cocktail Recipes

The holidays are here, and we’re as cheerful as ever! With the merriment come parties, gatherings, and get-togethers, as well as snacks, treats, and cocktails. Below are a few of our favorite holiday cocktail recipes with the finest, most festive ingredients. Please drink responsibly, and have a happy holiday from all of us at Bernick’s!

Poor in half a can of Strawberry flavored Crush and a bottle of Smirnoff Ice until ¾  of the glass is full. Then, top with a layer of whipped cream. Tastes yummy, and looks just like Santa’s hat!

2. Christmas Cran-dy Cane

In drink mixer, combine chilled vodka and cold Cranberry Sierra Mist and shake to mix. Pour in small glass. Squeeze a slice of lemon over glass and stir. Hook the small candy cane over the edge of the glass and enjoy!

 

Holiday_Cocktail_-_Cinnamon_Cider3. Cinnamon Spiked Cider

  • 1 – 2 oz. Cinnamon Whiskey
  • 12 oz. Bottle of your favorite Cider (Angry Orchard, Crispin, Smith & Forge, Strongbow, Woodchuck, Sonoma, J.K. Scrumpy, etc.)

Pour chilled cider into a tall glass, then pour cinnamon alcohol in and mix. It’s sure to warm you up from your fingers to your toes!

4. The Mistletoe

Pour cherry vodka and Schweppes tonic water over ice. Add a splash of either Sierra Mist or 7UP and stir together. Pop in a cherry or two, and garnish with a sprig of rosemary. A unique drink that is as festive as it is delicious!

Pour vodka and soda together over ice in glass. Mix, and garnish with 2-3 mint leaves, and 12-15 pomegranate seeds. This cocktail looks festive, is easy to sip on, and is low in calories!

6. The Grinch

Pour Mt. Dew and Sierra Mist over ice and stir together. Add melon liqueur and stir in. For an extra green look at a holiday party, add a drop or two of green food coloring!

 

7. Christmas Eve Coffee

  • 4 – 5 oz. Coffee, brewed strongHoliday_Cocktail_-_Christmas_Coffee
  • 1 oz butterscotch schnapps         
  • 1 oz peppermint schnapps (optional)
  • 1 oz amaretto liqueur
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur
  • Whipped Cream

Combine strong coffee and liqueurs in mug. Stir to combine ingredients and top with a dollop of whipped cream. You can serve this warm or iced. Perfect as Christmas morning treat, or as a nightcap before Santa stops by!

Pour chilled rum and ice-cold San Pellegrino sparkling water in glass. Sprinkle crushed candy over the top and garnish with mint leaves. This colorful cocktail is sure to bring holiday cheer!
